• Competition to take place over a year (March 16, 2009 to March 15, 2010).
• Submissions to be a minimum of 12 photographs of Presqu’ile Provincial Park.
• Photos to portray Park educational activities, birdlife, flora and fauna, and general park use over the four seasons.
• All photographs submitted to the competition may be used by the Friends, or the Park, in the portrayal of their activities in publications or on their websites.
• Photographers should understand that, while all will be credited, any photos submitted and used on the website may be taken and used for other purposes by the general public.
• It is a requirement of Ministry of Natural Resources that photographs of recognisable people should be accompanied by a release form, a copy of which may be obtained by clicking here.
• Photographs can be existing or new, however, photographs submitted for previous Friends of Presqu’ile competition(s) cannot be used.
• The best collection of 12 (or more) photographs will be selected by a panel of judges after March 15, 2010.
• The prize is a summer Park pass, valued over $80, presented at the end of March 2010 (in time for the start of the summer season) by Ontario Parks.
• Parks have generously agreed to a second prize this year, to be decided, for the best overall single photograph.

The primary focus of the Friends of Presqu’ile Park is to provide support for the interpretive and educational aspect of Presqu’ile Provincial Park through fundraising for many activities and projects. We also want our website to be an excellent source of reference material, both written and photographic, to allow others to educate free of charge. Your contribution in the way of photographs will help us to achieve this.
