Summer Interpretive Program

In the summer, our daily programs are on a two-week rotation.  If you would like a weekly schedule of our events, email david.bree@ontario.ca and ask to be put on our distribution list; a pdf file will be sent to you every Thursday, with the next 8 days events. During the summer months you can also click on our home page for a copy of the current programme.

Presqu’ile Park is pleased to announce that our upcoming summer interpretive program will once again be interesting, exciting, educational, and, most of all, fun.  Starting the last week of June, and running to Labour Day weekend, we will be offering at least two programs a day (except Wednesdays), that will feature the unique and fascinating world that Presqu’ile protects.  Bird and insect migration, the many and varied natural habitats and their inhabitants, sea life 450 million years ago, the fascinating world of Ontario’s finest tombolo formation, and of course the rich cultural heritage of the Great Lakes and Presqu’ile Park’s past are all highlighted this summer.

Whether you join a walk, go to an evening presentation at the amphitheatre, attend a children’s program (parents welcome!), or join us at a campfire, you are sure to have a good time and come away more knowledgeable about Ontario’s natural and cultural heritage as represented here at Presqu’ile.
