Garage To Greatness Project: Fall 2025 Update
In the summer we embarked on a new educational initiative: renovating the garage area of the Nature Centre into a classroom. This would create a four-season educational and meeting venue that will be used to deliver Discovery Program activities, environmental education for school groups, and it could be used for small gatherings. We’ve done the dirty work. Our volunteers have torn out the walls and flooring such that new wiring, plumbing, and insulation can be installed.
Trail Improvements 2025

Our enthusiastic nature interpreters will be there to answer your questions about the native plants and animals, geology and fossils, and the natural history and ecological niches of the area. The Nature […]
Garage to Greatness: Building Nature’s Classroom
Nature Centre Renovation Campaign We are excited to share news about our big project for 2025. We’ve launched our “Garage to Greatness: Building Nature’s Classroom” project. Part of the project is to refresh the Nature Centre with some cosmetic improvements, and we plan to transform the old ‘Yellow House’ garage into a four-season learning centre. We will completely renovate the space and install new audio-visual equipment. The classroom will accommodate 20-25 students. In the past, lack of space has limited the park’s ability to run Discovery programming in the winter months, or anytime the weather is inclement, but this initiative […]
